Training needs from the workers in vocational education in Hebron Governorate apon their request
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the training needs from the point of view of workers in vocational and technical education in the Hebron Governorate. The study population consisted of all workers in vocational education in government schools, amounting to (162) male and female employees during the academic year 2019-2020, and the study sample consisted of (79) male and female employees who were selected in a stratified random manner from the study population, and the researchers adopted the descriptive approach for its suitability for the purposes of The study and they built a questionnaire consisting of (28) items, and its validity and reliability were confirmed by appropriate statistical methods. The study questions were answered and hypotheses were examined using the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS).
The results of the study showed that the degree of measuring the training needs of workers in vocational education represented in (management support, the existence of a system, obstacles) came to a medium degree for the total degree with an arithmetic mean (2.7027) and a standard deviation (0.42972).
The study came out with a set of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to develop a written, organized and integrated plan for training based on training needs.
