The role of knowledge extraction in crisis management in the health sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Abstract


This study highlights the role of knowledge extraction in crisis management (Corona crisis) in Saudi Arabia, and the reality of its use in institutions and organizations in Saudi Arabia, and therefore the main problem of study appeared in the main question: What is the role of knowledge extraction in crisis management (Corona crisis) in the health sector in Saudi Arabia?, and used the descriptive survey method where the current study community is of all employees in the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, including managers at all administrative levels of the Ministry of Health, the researcher obtained on (250) questionnaires in favor of statistical analysis from the overall study community. The study concluded by revealing the reality of employing knowledge extraction practices in crisis management (Corona crisis) in the health sector in Saudi Arabia, identifying the level of awareness of health workers in the role of knowledge extraction in crisis management (Corona crisis) and also came up with recommendations and proposals to activate the role of knowledge extraction in crisis management (Corona crisis) in the health sector in Saudi Arabia in light of the results of the study.
