Challenges of Smart Government Application

Abstract


Many countries have sought to publicize their government services on the Internet through applications and electronic portals to reflect the life events and business services of individual citizens and companies. This is what is called smart government, with which countries and governments complete what has been built and invest in it by approaching the citizen on the one hand and direct and simultaneous interaction with the data. Widespread in the economic, social and security components of society on the other hand.

This scientific paper aims to analyze and discuss the most prominent challenges facing smart governments through the critical analysis and evaluation approach that was applied to recent studies that dealt with the topic of smart government, then provide a critical review of these studies and come up with special results, conclusions, and recommendations on the topic of the current study, which resulted in agreement with previous studies. There are several challenges facing the smart government, including: lack of human and material resources - lack of the ability to upload files to websites and applications - the state’s failure to provide support and support for Internet and other services - security and privacy. The study recommended the need to conduct more studies to highlight the most important challenges facing the smart government. And the appropriate solutions for them and the need to pay attention to how to transform from e-government to smart government.
