Saudi women's role in the development of society in light of Vision 2030 (Descriptive study on a sample of working women in Jeddah)

Abstract


This is a study entitled (The Role of Saudi Women in Community Development in the Light of Vision 2030). This study aimed to know the role of Saudi women in community development in light of the 2030 vision of working women in the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, using a questionnaire tool to measure the respondents' opinions, and using the statistical analysis program (SPSS) to analyze the data collected, where (243) female workers were collected and a descriptive analysis of the respondents was conducted.

The results of the study confirmed that there is a role for Saudi women in the development of society in the light of the 2030 vision from the point of view of female workers in the city of Jeddah at a rate of (4,280) to a very high degree. The first axis is the role of Saudi women in community development in light of the Kingdom’s vision (2030).

The highest degree of approval by female workers at a very high degree, with an average of (4.494), and the third axis, which is the obstacles facing Saudi women to play their role in the development of society in light of the Kingdom’s vision (2030), obtained the lowest degree of approval by female workers in the city of Jeddah with a high degree and an average of (4.043).

The study recommends removing the obstacles that limit the role of women in the development of society in the light of Vision 2030, as well as activating the role of universities in raising the level of awareness of women towards themselves and society, enhancing the role of Saudi women in accordance with the aspirations and foundations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and promoting activities and events that highlight the identity of women.
