DOAJ – Directory of Open Access Journals

Directory of Open Access Journals is a service that provides access to quality controlled Open Access Journals. The Directory aims to be comprehensive and cover all open access scientific and scholarly journals that use an appropriate quality control system, and it will not be limited to particular languages or subject areas. The aim of the Directory is to increase the visibility and ease of use of open access scientific and scholarly journals thereby promoting their increased usage and impact.

Who is responsible for this service?

Directory of Open Access Journals is hosted, maintained and partly funded by Lund University Libraries Head Office.

 AASRC ceased printing of its Journal and Conference Proceedings and instead focus solely on its digital issues published online through the Open Journal System and available as PDF for print by Journal and Conference Authors.

The Nov 2011, Volume 3, Number 1 was the last printed edition. AASRC shall start offering more free content to entire potential organizational members.

AASRC Journal is Open Access which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

Our website shows the Creative Commons sign and it is up to the Author if he/she wants to have his/her articles freely available or held back from being published. But, we must publish the Abstract online.

AASRC is devoted to the continuing advancements of global open academic & scholarly research working with a clear mission of helping the economies of the world’s 50 (underdeveloped) countries by allowing professors and conferences from these countries to publish quality research articles in AASRC Journal free of charge.

AASRC is using the Open Journal System (OJS) model which supports open access scholarly publishing allowing professors from developing countries to capture, share and contribute to the world’s global scholarly knowledge.

AASRC covers the costs of journal production, web hosting, CMS, database, online repository and archiving through a modest and affordable publication fee paid by authors or research sponsors from middle and upper income countries as listed by the world bank.
