Marwan Yousef

Abstract

The influence of digital transformation on small and medium-sized enterprises' (SMEs') resilience in Jordan's economic environment is examined in this study. SMEs are essential for promoting economic growth and innovation as the world economy moves more and more towards digitalization. However, the challenges they face, particularly in emerging markets like Jordan, necessitate an examination of how digital technologies can enhance their operational resilience. Through a mixed-methods approach, this research investigates the strategies employed by Jordanian SMEs to integrate digital tools and processes. It analyzes the factors influencing their ability to adapt to market changes, improve efficiency, and sustain competitive advantages. Key themes include adopting digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, and data analytics, as well as the role of government support and digital infrastructure. Results show that small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who adopt digital transformation enhance their performance in the short term and increase their ability to withstand shocks and upheavals in the economy. This study emphasizes how crucial it is to incorporate digital strategies into resilience planning in light of the changing nature of the economy
