Business Incubators And it’s Role in Supporting Small Projects in Iraq

Abstract


What is happening in our time of rapid changing in all areas, represents a turning point towards new concepts and special offers to our opportunities for growth and prosperity, and has taken interest in small enterprises is being increasing day by day, knowing of the importance of its role in the national economy, and the increasing of interest in such sector in respective of its spread in various cities and villages and the diversity of its activities that it includes various sectors.
Small Projects are the primary engine of economic growth and activity in most countries, particularly Developing Countries, where those institutions have the features and peculiarities characteristic such as: flexibility, the ability to rapid changing, capability of innovation and development, and is also the main component in the absorption of labor.
So to support small projects will have a positive impact on the structure and the growth of the national economy as a whole and the emergence of organizations which are promising enough to contribute in creation of job opportunities in order to absorb a lot of workers, especially young people who enter the labor market for the first time.
Because some projects, especially the small ones that are lacked a clear vision of the prior justification for their existence and its presence does not reflect the policy of specific development, in addition its establishment is not within a developed clear-cut strategy , all hindered the growth of these projects and limited its role, and should find an effective means to support these projects and to assist them, and the solutions here by establishing an institutions with are high administrative competencies based on supporting these projects and assisting in the economic life cycle, especially in the beginnings , and these institutions are known as Business Incubators.
Business Incubators are institutions that have an independent entity providing a package of services, facilities and supportive mechanisms and consultation through specific stages and in a scheduled time for entrepreneurs who wish to establish small projects.
