Banu Gökçül offers personal and organizational development consultancy to a wide variety of people from senior executives to farmers, athletes to teachers. She gives corporate trainings on NLP, change, creativity and leadership. Creativity results from self motivation whereby the system of belief is changed. This means spontaneity and naturalness. According to Gökçül, it is essential for personal motivation and corporate efficiency to realize the happiness derived from serving, rather than defining tasks as jobs. Like Confucius said “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”According to Gökçül, the key to success is to ensure self motivation; to change the system of belief. To be spontaneous. In other words, to be natural, unconstrained, and to act on sudden impulses. This is the source of creativity. Displaying not a pattern, but an original behavior depending on the original situation at that moment. Got her degree in public administration from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the Middle East Technical University. Teaches leadership and management skills under the Executive MBA Program at Bilgi University. Currently pursues her doctorate studies in organizational behavior at Marmara University.
