Mr. Jess Thompson-Hughes
Jess Thompson-Hughes is Managing Director of REACT, a London based group of companies, which provides business, marketing and technical consulting services, with a particular focus on helping Businesses build a competitive advantage.
A prolific entrepreneur, at age 16 Jess joined the Army, where he served in some interesting places and gained a raft of unusual experiences. Via a circular route he has lived and worked in the UK, Europe, California, the Caribbean and Asia. He has owned, managed and led companies and business units as diverse as Global Manufacturers and Support Organisations, IT Distributors and Resellers, Yacht Charter companies, Motorbike Adventure Tour operators, Restaurants and Charities.
Jess spent a short time with the Special Forces, enjoys flying light aircraft, archery and sailing. Over the years he has been an Army Boxer, Canoeing Instructor, Skiing Instructor, Mountaineering Expedition Leader and competed in the UK national Ju-Jitsu championships.
Having recently completed a Masters Degree in International Business, specializing in Leadership, Innovation, Strategy and Change Management, he is now readying himself for a PhD.

- The relationship between an individual’s pre-disposed cultural inclinations and the ability of leaders to implement strategy.
- How leaders of newly created / fast paced organisations or those with no over-arching or pre-existing cultural norms, can benefit from the inherited cultural alignment or understanding of those within it.
- Assess the challenges that leaders of businesses face in relation to the pre-disposed cultural inclinations of individuals and suggest best practises in relation to implementing strategy.
